Dru Kennedy, 22, has been a resident of Corner Brook his whole life. He started shooting photos four years
ago and has only started to put serious time into it within the last year. In his camera bag you will find a Canon
5D Mark II body, battery grip, 70 -200mm, 50mm, 17-40mm, and a 28 mm lenses, along with a tripod, Nikon
FM 35 mm film SLR, flashlights, batteries and a few other odds and ends.
Dru says he’s travelled the province with his camera, and it blows his mind how creative you can be with
the diversity of the land — and the four distinct seasons. His favourite things
to shoot include snowboarding, skateboarding, landscapes and wildlife. You can check out his
blog and FlickR for more photos at drukennedyphoto.blogspot.com
and flickr.com/photos/drukennedy. The Star hopes to feature more upand-
coming photogs in the months ahead.
