  • Details : Christmas Concert The Corner Brook Regional High Wind Symphony will be presenting “Yes Virginia, There is a Santa Claus” on Thursday, December 12th at the Corner Brook Regional High gymnasium. This Christmas Concert will feature instrumental music students from Corner Brook Regional High and G. C. Rowe Junior High. It will also feature guest performers Kate Sanders, Aubrey Sanders, and trumpeter Darren Hancock. The performance is directed by Darren White. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children and can be purchased at the door. Start time is 7pm.

OK, this will likely be the strangest Christmas movie that you'll see all year... or decade. It is darkly comic, and contains all of the elements to make it so: reindeer herders, evil oil executives, malevolent elves, and the trapping of a Santa Claus who should... well... maybe remain trapped. A horror-fantasy from Finland. Santa is coming. Be very afraid...!
