This project generally consists of architectural and electrical upgrades to existing residence lounges in the Arts and Science Building, Grenfell Campus.

Tenders are invited and will be received not later than 3 p.m. (Newfoundland Local Time) on Friday, May 2, 2014, for the above tender(s), and a Public Tender Opening will be held at the Grenfell Campus at that same time.

Electronic copies of plans and specifications are now available at no charge by calling 709-637-4096.  Also, copies may be picked up in Room AS202, Arts and Sciences Building, Grenfell Campus, Corner Brook, NL (709-637-4096) upon deposit of a non-refundable cheque or money order (made payable to MUN) in the amount of $25 (HST included).

TAKE NOTICE that tenders will be accepted at the offices of Cox & Palmer, Solicitors, Suite 1000, Scotia Centre, 235 Water Street, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, A1C 1B6, up to 11:59 a.m. on April 30, 2014 for land and      premises situate 202 Petries Street, Corner Brook, ­Newfoundland and Labrador and being described in a ­Mortgage dated April 18, 2012 and registered at ­Registration No. 525776 of the Registry of Deeds for ­Newfoundland and Labrador (“the Mortgage”);

The tendering process will be held to satisfy an amount due under the Mortgage.

TERMS OF TENDER - The highest tenderer shall not ­necessarily be the purchaser. The successful tender must be accompanied by a deposit of 5% of the purchase price with the balance to be paid on closing. All amounts shall be paid by bank draft or certified cheque in favour of Cox & Palmer. The transaction shall be completed within 30 days of April 30, 2014. NOTICE OF SALE BY TENDER

MCINNES COOPER

TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Section 60 of the Personal Property Security Act, S.N. 1998, c. P-71, as amended, a 1973 Olympic Mobile Home Model 7094, together with all property associated thereto, situate at 8 Wildwood Avenue, Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador and more particularly described in a Security Agreement dated the 22nd day of April, 2010, perfected by a Financing Statement registered on the Newfoundland and Labrador Personal Property Security Registry on April 22, 2010 and bearing Registration No. 8113926, will be sold by tender on an “as is where is” basis.  The sale is being held to satisfy amounts due to the Mortgagee and secured by the Security Agreement.

TERMS OF SALE
      
A sealed tender package clearly marked “Do Not Open/Tender/Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador” specifying the tender price and enclosing ten percent (10%) of the amount tendered by certified cheque made payable to "McInnes Cooper in Trust" is to be submitted to the offices of McInnes Cooper on or before 5:00 o'clock p.m. on Wednesday, the 29th day of April, 2014.  The tenders, once received by McInnes Cooper, are irrevocable.
 
Tenders are to be opened in private at the offices of McInnes Cooper on Thursday, the 30th day of April, 2014.  Deposit cheques for unsuccessful tenders will be returned immediately by registered post.
     
The successful tenderer will pay the balance of the purchase price by certified cheque on completion of the transaction which is to take place within thirty (30) days of the tender opening.  A deposit of the successful tenderer will be deemed a cash deposit or will be forfeited as liquidated damages if the purchase is not completed by the tenderer.
     
The Mortgagee under the above‑noted Security Agreement reserves the right to tender and is not obligated to accept the highest or any tender. The sale is subject to cancellation and to prior sale or redemption by the Mortgagor.
 
Further particulars as to the terms of sale binding upon a tenderer whose tender is accepted, may be obtained by contacting the undersigned solicitors for the Mortgagee.  Persons wishing to view the subject property are also asked to contact the undersigned.
