Project: City of Corner Brook – Georgetown Road Pressure Reducing Station (Contract 2014-61)

Purchase price: $80 (Non-refundable HST included)

Closing date: October 1, 2014 @ 12:00 Noon Local Time

This project is being funded through the Municipal Capital Works Program Agreement.

Upon receipt of the purchase price indicated above, plans and specifications may be obtained from the Engineering Office at 5 Park Street, Corner Brook, NL or by calling 709-637-1540 and viewed at the offices of the Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Association. Tenders addressed to the City Clerk must be delivered to the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, City of Corner Brook, 5 Park Street, P.O. Box 1080, Corner Brook, NL A2H 6E1 (Phone: 709-637-1534, Fax: 709-637-1543 and be submitted on forms and
in sealed envelopes provided, clearly marked as to the contents. Tenders will be opened immediately after the tender closing time.

The Tender Documents shall be read in conjunction with the Municipal Water, Sewer and Roads Master Construction Specifications, Latest Revision, as published by the Department of Municipal Affairs Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The Scope of Work generally involves supply and installation of approximately 173m of ductile iron water main and fittings having various diameter ranging from 300mm to 150mm, along with construction of a Pressure Reducing Station, deconstruction of an existing pressure reducing chamber and associated reinstatement works, as detailed by Contract Drawings and Specifications.

A bid security of 10% will be required.

This project includes, but not limited to, the removal and reinstatement of approximately 260m of existing storm sewer. This consists of the removal of existing corrugated metal pipe, concrete manholes, concrete sidewalk, and asphalt road surface. New construction will include the installation of approximately 240m of new 1.8m dia. storm sewer, 20m of new concrete box culvert, (6) cast in place manholes, new concrete sidewalk, new asphalt road repair and all landscaping and property reinstatement associated with this construction.

A Bid Security of 10% will be required.

TOWN OF ISLE AUX MORTS


TENDER
Supply & Delivery of Front End Loader with Hydraulic Reversible Blades, Bucket, and Basket


The Town of Isle aux Morts is accepting sealed tenders for the supply of one (1) Front End Loader with Hydraulic Reversible Blades. Bids will only be accepted that include the total cost of the Loader to be supplied with Hydraulic Reversible blades, bucket, snow basket and one (1) set of each summer and winter tires. A set of minimal specifications are available by contacting the Town Office at 709-698-3441, facsimile at 709-698-3449 or email at townhalliam@nf.abin.com. Price shall include all applicable taxes, and optional
warranties. The vehicle must be available for delivery no later than December 1st, 2014.

TOWN OF HUGHES BROOK

The Town of Hughes Brook invites tenders for snow-clearing services for the period from October 27, 2014 to April 27, 2015. Contract will include snow-clearing, delivery and spreading of ice control materials on all roads and the Town Hall parking lot.

Sealed tenders clearly marked “SNOW CLEARING TENDER” and addressed as shown above must be received at the Town Office before 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 24, 2014.

Tourism Industry Association of Prince Edward Island


The Tourism Industry Association of Prince Edward Island (TIAPEI), in their capacity as recipient to the Atlantic Canada Tourism Partnership (ACTP), requires an experienced and qualified full service market research firm to work with research professionals from each of the four Atlantic Provinces to design, deliver and report on TIAPEI’s 2014 US Consumer Survey.  This online research will be conducted in the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions of the United States and will profile the travel characteristics and interests of TIAPEI’s lifestyle segments, incidence of travel and key destination experiences, and activities and attributes that    inspire travel.  Proposals are due on or before Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 11:59 am (Atlantic Time).  To obtain a copy of the Terms of Reference please contact:
