Halloween is hastily approaching and the students at Corner Brook Regional High are enthusiastically preparing for the thrilling holiday. As every year, various students will be participating in ‘We Scare Hunger’ during this Halloween.
Instead of trick-or-treating, the students will be venturing around the community in search of non-perishable food items to donate to the local food bank.
Hundreds of posters plastered the walls last week as many students campaigned for a position on the student council of 2013-2014! The students gave their best efforts to earn the votes of the student body.
Elections were held during homeroom classes and each student was entitled to vote for those who they believed would best represent their grade level. Two appointed members were interviewed and became the newest members of CBRH’s student council.
