A fictitious male stripper troupe, played by a cast of some of Canada’s best improvisational comedians, is bringing an improv comedy show to the city.

Fresh off sold out shows in Vegas, Australia and now Newfoundland, the show features Roman Danylo, Ken Lawson and Chris Casillan.

According to a press release, expect an evening of risque fun.

“Just in time for stagette season ... this is definitely a parody of male strippers,” said the statement.

“Some of the performers have what's called ‘Comedy Bodies' — they will make you look good by comparison.

“Semi-undressed and completely unscripted, The Comic Strippers take off their shirts and take on your suggestions to create a whole new genre of comedy.”

The show is intended for audiences 19 and is scheduled for Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Arts and Culture Centre.
