The City of Corner Brook and its firefighters will resume negotiation discussions Sunday.

After both sides said no meeting was scheduled as of Thursday, firefighters confirmed Friday morning the conciliator, late in the evening, scheduled a meeting for Sunday.

This week, firefighters announced their intentions of striking Monday, if no deal is reached. Wages and essential service designation are the main focuses of bargaining.
