CORNER BROOK Conrad Curtis John Crocker, the co-accused, in the Trout River medical clinic break-in and fire is preparing a release plan, according to his lawyer.
The Trout River man is in custody following his arrest in relation to Monday’s incident at the medical clinic in the western Newfoundland community. He is charged with break and enter and committing an offence, arson with damage to property, two counts of breaching an undertaking or recognizance, and also has a charge of failing to comply with the sex offender information registration act.
He made a brief appearance in provincial court in Corner Brook again Friday and the matter was set over until Tuesday afternoon. Legal aid lawyer Jamie Luscombe said Crocker needed more time to prepare his release plan.
The co-accused in the medical clinic break-in, Eugene Steadman Victor Crocker, also from Trout River, was denied bail Thursday. Eugene is also charged with two other break-ins in the town, and two counts of uttering threats and possession of stolen property.
