CORNER BROOK — It will be at least another week before Eugene Steadman Victor Crocker's lawyer is ready to take action on his legal matters.

In provincial court in Corner Brook on Wednesday, legal aid attorney Jodi MacDonald requested a week's postponement to review the psychiatric assessment and continue discussions with Crown attorney Adam Sparkes.

The 29-year-old man is accused of setting fire to the Trout River medical centre, one of nine charges he faces in relation to three alleged break-ins in the town.

Other than the break-ins, arson and theft-related offences he is also charged with two counts of uttering threats and breaching a previous court order.

Crocker, who has been denied bail since June, will return to court Wednesday.
