Roads still slick from Leslie

CORNER BROOK Some roads on the west coast are still feeling the effects of heavy rainfall that came with tropical storm Leslie, early this morning and Monday.

 

Route 463 West Bay on the Stephenville Access Road to Port aux Basques remains impassable.

 

Route 450 to York Harbour is reduced to one lane in sections because of a wash out Monday.

 

The Corner Brook to Stephenville access road west bound lanes are remain closed at the Corner Brook Stream Bridge.

 

Motorists are advised to use caution in the following areas where there is water build up on the road:

Hampden Junction to Deer Lake,

Burgeo highway,

Deer Lake to Gros Morne Park (North B),

Gros Morne Park (North B) to Plum Point,

Plum Point to St. Anthony,

Plum Point to Roddickton intersection,

Roddickton intersection to St. Anthony Airport
