PORT AUX BASQUES  Marine Atlantic ferry services have returned to regular scheduling after disruption Monday and Tuesday.

Three crossings for both the Cabot Strait and Argentia routes were held because of tropical storm Leslie.

Services were reinstated for the Wednesday 11:30 a.m. crossing. That sailing was originally cancelled, but improvements to the weather enabled the sailing.

Approximately 1,000 passengers affected were able to rescheduled on the Wednesday morning crossings.

Passengers who were not able to travel in the morning were able to be booked Wednesday evening crossings.
