The City of Corner Brook received $195,000 in the sale of the former city hall building.

The structure, which is located at 2 Mount Bernard, known to be on contaminated ground was bought by Newfoundland and Labrador Inc. The company is owned by city resident and developer Daniel Hubert, the man who also developed the former Magestic Theatre.

Cheaper than most houses in this community! If the city was willing to look the other way on the contamination, then I'm sure one of our young residents would have paid $250k or $275k for it! :D
