Zachery White, 22, entered a guilty plea to simple possession of marijuana in September after the Crown reduced the original charge of possession for the purposes of trafficking.

White and co-accused Timothy Ball, 21, were charged following a search of a vehicle by the RCMP and RNC joint forces drug team officers in Deer Lake on May 1.

The police seized cocaine, marijuana and prescription drugs during the search.

Ball pleaded guilty to charges of possession and possession for the purposes of trafficking last month. His sentencing hearing has been scheduled for Oct. 19.
