CORNER BROOK The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary says the driver of one of the vehicles involved in an accident in Corner Brook Sunday evening had been drinking alcohol.
Two people in the second vehicle were taken to Western Memorial Regional Hospital for treatment of minor injuries after the collision at the intersection of the Lewin Parkway and O’Connell Drive that happened at around 5:15 p.m.
The other driver, a 31-year-old man from Corner Brook, was issued a seven-day driving suspension after he was administered a breath test. No criminal charge for impaired driving was issued.
Both vehicles were extensively damaged and the RNC is continuing to investigate the incident.

Any driver with a BAC between 0.05-0.08% will automatically have their license revoked for 7 days, anything exceeding .08 would be charged criminally. Maybe the commenters should try using Google before making ignorant accusations.
