CORNER BROOK — A Corner Brook man charged in a June 2011 home invasion is now wanted after not showing up for court Tuesday.

Evan John Power, whose lawyer Gerard Martin stepped aside in December due to a conflict of interest, has a warrant out for his arrest. He is one of four people charged in the alleged assault of a 21-year-old man at his home.

Power has been charged with two previous counts of failure to comply with an appearance notice and single counts of breaking and entering and committing an offence, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, assault causing bodily harm and mischief relating to property valued at less than $5,000.
