Marshall moves to Natural Resources

CORNER BROOK Humber East MHA Tom Marshall has been named minister of Natural Resources in a cabinet shuffle announced by Premier Kathy Dunderdale today.

Marshall’s old portfolio of Finance has been handed over to Jerome Kennedy, the former Natural Resources minister. Marshall remains as attorney general and also takes on responsibility for the forest and agrifoods agency.

Besides Finance, Kennedy also becomes president of Treasury Board and is the minister responsible for the Human Resource Secretariat, the Public Service Commission and the Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation.
