A group of residents from the St.Lunaire-Griquet region will be travelling to Corner Brook Friday to further protest the impending closure of Bayview Regional Collegiate.
The group plans to peacefully gather near the entrance to the office of the Western School District on Wellington Street between 6:15 and 6:30 p.m. as both staff and board trustees arrive for the public meeting at 7 p.m.
The group then plans to attend the meeting, hoping that their presence will cause the board of trustees to revisit their decision, and reconsider the intention to close Bayview upon the completion of the new kindergarten to Grade 12 facility in St. Anthony.
