The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary in Corner Brook is investigating a collision Monday night between a vehicle and snowmobile.
According to police, a vehicle travelling on Crestview Avenue around 10:30 p.m. was struck by a snowmobile operated by a male driver on the road.
The snowmobile driver failed to remain at the collision scene, but his snowmobile was located a short time later and impounded.
The RNC say charges are anticipated. No injuries were reported in the incident.

Henry, the citys bilaw doesnt even allow a snowmobile to be started in Corner Brook. IT is backward thinking bylaws like this that prevent Corner Brook from being the great city it could be. Corner Brook is all ready limited in what facilities or activities it provides to its citizens. Look at Deer Lake! They have trails with access to food and fuel! Time for Corner Brook Officals to get off their butts and start thinking about the next generations and young families and not only the senior citizens in the city!
