I remember a few years ago when a woman was allegedly charged with a stabbing incident and her picture was enlarged on the front page with the headlines, her name printed in full, and she and her family embarassed. To this day, she is ridiculed and penalized by the public. When she was acquitted of this charge and proven innocent, this was not printed on the first page, but in small print on the 4th page of the paper. People only remember and notice the front page headline. At least the above story was handled with more tact.
