WEST BAY  While a body was recovered from the shore of West Bay late Wednesday evening, police couldn’t say whether it was that of a duck hunter reported lost in the area on Jan. 28 this year.

Sam Munden of the Bay St. George RCMP said arrangements have been made for the deceased to be transported to the medical examiners' office in St. John's where an autopsy will be conducted.

He said police would have more information to release once the autopsy is completed and the identity of the body is confirmed.
