The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary in Corner Brook have recovered two firearms believed to have been stolen in a January break and enter.

With assistance of the police dog service the guns were found in a wooded area near Crestview Avenue at about 3 p.m. Monday.

The police have yet to make an arrest and are continuing to investigate. Anyone with any information can contact the RNC at 637-4100 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477). Information can be provided online at www.nlcrimestoppers.com.

    When I lived in C-Brk years ago we have a professional police force called RCMP and they could fill the uniform unlike the little boys & girls of the RNC..

    So....some kids found the guns, called the police, who eventually showed up with their dogs it tow. ....is that it?
