CORNER BROOK – The intersection of Humber Road and Main Street in Corner Brook will become a four-way stop on Monday as crews begin work to replace the traffic signals at the location.

The city estimates the project will require between six and seven weeks to complete.

For the duration of the work, the intersection will become a four-way stop.

Motorists, cyclists and pedestrians are encouraged to use additional caution in the area.

    The town should look into the need for a traffic light. It should look at the need for most of its traffic lights. If there is a need then start replacing them with sensor activated lights instead of these obsolete tight based lights.
