MAINLAND A man and a woman were hospitalized after the vehicles they were driving collided in Mainland on the Port au Port Peninsula Thursday.
Both were initially taken to Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville with injuries believed to be not life-threatening, but the 23-year-old man operating the bike was later transported to Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook.
The 34-year-old woman who was driving the car involved in the collision was later released from hospital.
Both people involved are from Mainland.
The matter remains under investigation by the RCMP.
