CORNER BROOK Two female youth are awaiting appearances in provincial court Monday after police responded to a report of them being unlawfully at large from an open custody facility in Corner Brook Sunday.
The two girls were located by the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary a short time after being reported missing from the Loretta Bartlett Home for Youth in the Curling area of the city around 4:15 p.m.
One of them was charged with being unlawfully at large, while the second youth was charged with three counts of breaching an undertaking. They have been held in custody at the detention facility in Deer Lake and are expected to appear in court Monday afternoon.
