The Deer Lake RCMP are investigating a break-in at the Esso station on Route 430 at Cormack that saw damage but no loss of inventory or cash.
According to police, at least one perpetrator damaged the front door and made his way inside where he stayed for less than five minutes. He left without taking anything.
There are surveillance cameras at the station, but so far police say they have yielded nothing concrete as to make an identification.
The incident was reported at 6:25 a.m. Tuesday, and it may have taken place sometime overnight Monday.
Gas station management had no comment.
