CORNER BROOK The concerns from users of the Pepsi Centre in Corner Brook were taken front-and-centre to city hall today.
More than 100 people gathered in front of city hall in opposition of prospective rental rate increases at the facility. Groups such as minor hockey, figure skating, speed skating, and women's and recreation hockey were represented.
They were joined by members of council and staff, as well as a number of the election candidates at the rally. There were also many minor hockey players, figure skaters and speed skaters there to showcase the groups impacted.
