CORNER BROOK A Stephenville man accused of stealing five televisions from a Murphy Square business is expected to appear in court in Corner Brook today.
The Corner Brook RNC reported arresting the 26-year-old after investigating the complaint of stolen merchandise worth $1,321.77 Tuesday. He was also charged with a breach of probation.
Police also linked the man to a previous theft at another Murphy Square business. This time the unidentified stolen property was valued at $120.30. He was again charged with theft and breach of probation.
The man was held overnight in custody, and is expected to appear in provincial court in Corner Brook today.
