CORNER BROOK — The Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation is trying to determine the incidence and scope of homelessness in the province.
To do that, the housing corporation has retained OrgCode Consulting Inc. to study the issue. As part of that study it wants to find out if homelessness is an issue in the Corner Brook area.
A discussion session will take place on Monday, Aug. 26, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Humber Community YMCA in the Millbrook Mall, for people in the area to share their thoughts and experiences about affordable housing and homelessness issues in the area.
Feedback provided at the discussion will help ensure the study reflects the values, needs and priorities of the people in the Corner Brook area and provide ideas about action for moving forward.
