The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has found a missing Corner Brook woman.
Julia Hussey, 32, was located by the RNC on the railbed in the area of Fox's General Store within the last hour.
Police say Hussey was safe when found and has been taken to Western Memorial Regional Hospital for observation.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has received a couple of reports of sightings of Julia Hussey, but as of yet have been unable to locate her.
Hussey was reported missing at 8 p.m. on Thursday and was last seen in the area of Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
The RNC say since putting out a media advisory this morning to ask for the public's help in finding Hussey that sightings of her have been reported from the downtown area of the city. However, by the time police arrive in the area she is no longer there.
The RNC is seeking the assistance of the general public in locating missing 32-year-old Julia Hussey.
Hussey was reported missing at 8 p.m. on Thursday. She was last seen in the area of Western Memorial Regional Hospital at approximately 6:15 p.m.
Hussey is described as 5’ 1”, 100 lbs, with brown eyes and long brown hair. She was last seen wearing a navy T-shirt and jeans. The RNC is concerned for her safety and well-being.
