Corner Brook woman missing again

Julia Hussey

CORNER BROOK  For the second time in a week the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is looking for Julia Hussey.

The 32-year-old Corner Brook woman was reported missing at 1:15 p.m. today. RNC officers and the police dog service responded to the report which put Hussey as last being seen in the area of Western Memorial Regional Hospital.

Hussey is described as being 5’1”, 100 lb, with brown eyes and long brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and jeans.

The RNC says it is concerned for her safety and well-being and ask that anyone with information about Hussey’s whereabouts contact them at 637-4100. Information can also be provided through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at  www.nlcrimestoppers.com.

Hussey was also reported missing by the hospital last Thursday night and located late last Friday afternoon in the Curling area of the city following a tip from a member of the public on her location.

    I think the article writer meant she was 'by' the hospital as in, 'near' the hospital last Thursday. The hospital didn't report her missing.

    Guess this goes to show just how well people are treated when they keep running away. Julia is a very nice young girl. I wish you the best Julia.

    How good is hospital secuiruty when a patient escapes, not once but twice in just over a week.
