CORNER BROOK The City of Corner Brook says the project to replace the traffic lights at the intersection of Humber Road and Main Street has been delayed.
Materials required for the project are expected to arrive within the next two weeks. The city says at that time the project will be completed.
The project, which began on July 22, was scheduled to take six weeks. However, with the delay the city is asking for the patience and understanding of the public.
The intersection will remain an all-way stop and motorists, cyclists and pedestrians are reminded to use extra caution in the area until the project is completed.
