CORNER BROOK A 51-year-old Corner Brook man is expected to make an appearance in provincial court today after he was arrested on an uttering threats charge Thursday evening.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to a complaint at a dwelling on Gillams Road at around 6:40 p.m., but the suspect had left the area by taxi while police were en route. He was located in a taxi on Elizabeth Street five minutes after the complaint was received.
Besides the uttering threats charge, the man was also charged with two counts of breaching probation and one count of breaching an undertaking.
He was held in custody until his appearance in court.
