Members of Acabella, Pamela Gill, Rebecca Pike, Andrea Green, Carolyn Parsons, Darlene Steeves, Carol Ann Oldford recently participated in Festival 500.

CORNER BROOK  The Off-Broadway Players community theatre group, in partnership with teh Rotary Arts Centre, is bringing an evening of holiday entertainment to Corner Brook.

“A Winter’s Night” will be held Dec. 12 starting at 8 p.m. at the lower city hall location.

Under the direction of Pamela Gill, the show will be a collection of music, readings and poetry, and will feature a varied cast of about 20 people. Highlights include readings of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and a stage adaptation of “The Polar Express,” as well as solo and group music numbers including AcaBella.

Tickets are available at the door, and offered at a discount price with a donation to the food bank. There is no admission for children under 12. For more information, email pgill@nl.rogers.com or off_broadway_players@yahoo.ca.
