CORNER BROOK  The Vikings of Gonzaga are proving to be a kryptonite of sorts for the Corner Brook Regional High Titans boys basketball team.

The boys fell to the St. John's school for the second consecutive tournament, this time a 67-60 defeat in the semi-final of the NLBA Invitational Boys High School Tournament. It followed their 78-66 loss at the Wendy's Classic last month to the same team that upset the favoured Titans in the 4A provincials last season.

The Titans had gone 2-0 in the round robin — defeating Holy Heart Jr. 71-47 Friday and Bishop's Collegiate 71-65 this morning.

Organizations: NLBA Invitational Boys High School, Wendy's
