Five people, four wearing Santa hats and one dressed as the jolly old guy himself, braved the cold on Saturday to take part in the Corner Brook Running Club's annual Christmas Run.

This year's run was sponsored by Island Orthotics and started from the shop's Goodhouse Building location.

Runners in the untimed fun run then covered a route that took them down West Street, left onto Main Street, then up Mount Bernard Avenue, onto O'Connell Drive, out West Valley Road and back to Island Orthotics for refreshments.
