Corner Brook police respond to disturbances

CORNER BROOK  The Corner Brook RNC responded to a pair of disturbances at houses in the city Sunday.

A 41-year-old Corner Brook man was charged with uttering threats after police responded to a Petries Street home after a complaint of a disturbance between two men. The man charged was released to appear in court Feb. 18. The men were known to each other.

Meanwhile, police are investigating accusations of an assault, uttering threats, and a person unlawfully being in a dwelling on Burkes Road. The suspect had left when police arrived. The home owner and suspect were known to each other, and no injuries were reported.
