STEPHENVLLE  A 50-year-old Irishtown man was given a seven-day driving suspension after he was stopped on Main Street in Stephenville in the early morning hours of Saturday.

Police said they made the stop because the truck the man was driving didn’t have the taillights working. The man was given the suspension because he blew a warning on the roadside-screening device.
