Corner Brook man arrested, owes more than $12,000 in fines

CORNER BROOK  The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary in Corner Brook arrested an 18-year-old man who owes more than $12,000 in fines Friday afternoon.

The young man was arrested under a warrant for failure to attend court and was also charged with possessing marijuana and driving while suspended from being allowed to do so.

He was detained and is expected to make a court appearance today.

    18 yrs old and he already owes $12 grand...if he keeps this up, he'll be a multi-millionaire in his retirement. But then, the beauty of being a self-employed 'burden to society' is it's a job you never retire from....
