Corner Brook man refuses breath test, charged with impaired driving

CORNER BROOK  A 25-year-old man has been charged with refusing the breathalyzer and impaired driving after the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary conducted a traffic stop in Corner Brook early Saturday morning.

Officers on patrol noticed a vehicle being driven erratically and stopped the vehicle on Mount Bernard Avenue at around 3:45 a.m.

The man was released and will appear in provincial court at a later date.

    Sad thing is most likely he will get away with it. They all do. I know of one in particular who lost his license, still driving and got pulled for the exact same reason, but haven't been charged for not having a license! Justice system needs to be more harsh on these people.
