Provincial cabinet meeting in Corner Brook this week

CORNER BROOK  Premier Tom Marshall will be meeting with his cabinet colleagues on home soil this week.

The premier, who is the Tory legislature member for Humber East, and the provincial cabinet will be meeting in Corner Brook from Wednesday to Friday.

The meetings will take place in the Office of the Premier’s board room on the 10th floor of the Sir Richard Squires Building.

The premier and one of his cabinet members will take some time out of their meeting schedule to make a funding announcement Wednesday.

Marshall will be joined by Innovation, Business and Rural Development Minister Terry French and Vaughn Granter, the Tory legislature member for Humber West, in announcing money for the Corner Brook Arts Centre Association’s new multi-purpose arts facility.

The announcement will take place in the Hutchings Room at city hall at 12:30 p.m.
