A section of the Dunfield Park area will be closed to traffic and will experiencing a water outage for most of Monday.
The City of Corner Brook issued an advisory Monday morning that it had scheduled the water outage and road closure to start at 10 a.m. and that it would take between eight and 10 hours to make needed repairs to the water distribution system.
The area to be affected includes Walsh Street from the intersection of Cochrane Street to the intersection of Crestview Avenue. This also means the following roads in Dunfield Park will be affected: Goarse Court, Hazel Place, Ivy Court, Juniper Place, Kale Court, Larch Place, Maple Place, Oak Terrace and Quince Place.
There will be no through traffic to this part of Corner Brook while the work is being done. The general motoring public is advised to use alternate routes.
