Police looking for owners of suspected stolen property

The Corner Brook Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has recovered a quantity of what is believed to be stolen items from vehicles in the area.

Police arrested three males and a female at about 1:30 this morning following reports of individuals checking vehicles in the Coronation Street area.

A 17-year-old Corner Brook man was kept in custody in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police cells in Deer Lake, and charged with failing to comply with conditions of a court order. He is expected to appear in court in Corner Brook today.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is seeking public assistance in returning the property believed to be related to several thefts from vehicles in the Corner Brook area. Police are also continuing its investigation, and further charges are expected.
