RNC seize marijuana shipped to wrong address in Corner Brook

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) Corner Brook Region has seized a significant quantity of marijuana mailed to an incorrect residence in Corner Brook.

Friday at about 7:30 p.m. RNC Patrol Services received a report from a concerned citizen regarding a suspicious package delivered to their residence via courier. Upon further investigation it was determined the package contained more than 15 pounds of marijuana.

The RNC Drug Section and Forensic Identification Section are continuing to investigate this incident and are seeking the assistance of the public. Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to contact the RNC at 637-4100 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
