For the second day in a row, travelling on the Trans-Canada Highway between Tompkins and Rose Blanche is impossible.

This photo was taken around 8:30 a.m. showing one of the many snowdrifts on the Trans-Canada Highway between Tompkins and Rose Blanche. The Department of Transportation is advising all drivers to stay off the TCH until conditions improve.
At 7:12 a.m. this morning the Department of Transportation website stated that there are slippery sections on the TCH - Tompkins to Port Aux Basques. Route 370 - Port Aux Basques to Rose Blanche.
There is heavy drifting and zero visibility in places.
Roads are not passable.
ADVISED TO STAY OFF UNTIL CONDITIONS IMPROVE.
