Showers expected around noon today in Corner Brook area

The bright sky over the Corner Brook area this morning is expected to darken around noon today, bringing showers that could last for days, acccording to Environment Canada.

Rainfall amounts today could be between two and four millimetres, and there could be winds gusting up to 50 kilometres per hour or as high as 70 kilometres per hour along the coasts.

Showers are expected to continue into Saturday, with a possibility they turn to flurries Sunday as the temperature drops to around 0C. April showers can be expected throughout next week, with highs of 11C for Tuesday and Wednesday.
