Public works conference slated for Corner Brook

The Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter of the Canadian Public Works Association will be holding its Spring Conference in Corner Brook May 7-9.

The conference, being held at the Glynmill Inn, is open to all people involved in all aspects of the public works and operations field.

It is an opportunity for individuals to enhance their abilities and knowledge, improve the quality and efficiency of service delivered to the public, and discuss common problems with fellow public works professionals.

The conference will include presentations in occupational, health and safety, legal issues, accident investigation, and federal regulations.
