It may not look like it right now, but Mother Nature is going to hit us with a mix of conditions today.
Environment Canada is forecasting snow for the Corner Brook area this morning that will change to freezing rain and then rain this afternoon.
The rain or drizzle will continue overnight with periods of drizzle forecast for Tuesday and showers on Wednesday.
Temperatures will range from a high of two today and rise to nine on Tuesday and Wednesday.
For Deer Lake the snow will change to ice pellets or freezing rain this afternoon. That freezing rain will change to rain in the evening and the outlook for Tuesday and Wednesday is much the same as for Corner Brook.
The Port aux Basques area is under a wind warning for the Wreckhouse today with gusts between 70 kilometres per hour and 110 kilometres per hour.
Conditions in the area will go from snow to freezing rain and then rain.
For the Stephenville area The Weather Network is forecasting flurries this morning with mixed precipitation in the afternoon. The evening is calling for showers and, like the other areas, those showers will continue into Tuesday and Wednesday.
