A Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador justice dismissed an appeal filed by a Halfway Point man during a hearing in Corner Brook last Wednesday.
Sean Michael Dobbin had launched the appeal of a conviction he was handed in provincial court last March for uttering threats and breach of probation.
Dobbin had threatened a social worker in a voice mail message in October 2012. He was sentenced to a total of 45 days in jail, 30 days for the uttering threats charge and 15 days for the breach of probation.
His appeal was heard by Justice David Hurley.
