Jai Stagg, a 38-year-old Stephenville man, is in court today after being arrested for public mischief and three breaches of judge’s undertakings on Wednesday afternoon.

Cst. Luc St. Hilaire of the Bay St. George RCMP said police were called by Stagg to a residence in Stephenville, who reported that he had prescription drugs stolen from him.

Hilaire alleges that police proved the complaint was false and made the arrest. He said Stagg has a number of other outstanding charges against him that are before the court.
