A group of highly popular entertainers will be coming to the Pepsi Centre this fall.

IceCaps Entertainment, in partnership with Legacy Events of St. John’s, has announced it's bringing the world-renowned Sesame Street Live show to Atlantic Canada, including a Corner Brook show on Oct. 29.

Like the TV show, the IceCaps news release says each Sesame Street Live production features timeless tunes and lessons for all ages.

“The universal appeal of each Broadway-quality musical production continues long after preschool,” said the release.

Tickets for the Pepsi Centre show go on sale noon Saturday and can be purchased by phone at 637-1233 or in person at the Pepsi Centre box office.

Organizations: Pepsi Centre, IceCaps, Sesame Street Live

Geographic location: Corner Brook, Atlantic Canada, Broadway

travel for one is an issue, that why we don't always gets acts out here on west coast. Live programming overall is not supported because some people just don't want to pay, I remember the tragically hip back when they were a huge draw were supposed to play , didn't turn out well. Heart didn't have a big . I was there , they were great despite the size....its a business and if people don't want to spend it doesn't help...St john's is getting shows now because they can sell out multiple nites.....I am sure if right work was being done to attract acts beautiful as corner brook area'd have bands. Get them first, then get people to buy. simple economics!
