Western Health is advising the public that a temporary visitation precaution remains in place on Raspberry Road (First Floor South East) at Corner Brook Long Term Care Home.
The visitation precaution is in place due to a number of residents with influenza like illness.
Western Health is asking for the public’s co-operation during this temporary visitation precaution. Exceptions for visitation on Raspberry Road may be made in extenuating circumstances, for immediate family members. Family members are asked to call 637-3992 before attempting to visit.
In a prepared release issued Wednesday, Western Health said visitor precautions are a series of infection control measures put in place to reduce the risk of spreading infectious diseases which are common in health care facilities this time of year. They are designed to help keep residents, families, staff and visitors healthy and safe.
